Natures Paintings

With a creative mother and a father who taught us to get out and about and to enjoy the small things in life I turned my hand to creativity doing a BA in Woven Textiles at Central Saint Martins in London after pre-foundation and foundation in Art & Design

Throughout my life, whilst out and about noticing things, I have used photography as an inspiration for my textiles to get new and interesting colours and textures. After a career designing and selling tie fabric, I returned to photography and evolved the images in their own right.

Having gained a strong practice of meditation and yoga I began to see the beauty in all things and the enjoyment of the present moment. This manifested itself in the photos with a strong desire to see things as they really are, overuling the minds tendency to label things and move on without really seeing.

Here I bring you the result of my work to date.

The idea being to really see the world and accept it for the reality of the precise moment in which the photo was taken.
